The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has released the official notification for the CISF Constable Fireman Recruitment 2024 for eligible male candidates. There are 1130 number of available vacancies for the post. It must be noted that interested candidate should have successfully completed their 12th Standard with a compulsory Science stream.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the CISF Constable Fireman Recruitment 2024, candidates must:

  • Be male Indian citizens.
  • Have passed the 12th Standard with a compulsory Science stream.
  • Be a minimum of 18 years old.

  • Vacancy Changes : The number of vacancies is tentative and may change during the recruitment process. Any updates will be communicated on the CISF website.

  • Ex-servicemen Reservation: 10% of vacancies are reserved for Ex-servicemen (ESM). If suitable ESM candidates are not available, these vacancies will be filled by non-ESM candidates of the respective categories.

  • Domicile Certificate Requirement: Candidates must submit the original Domicile/Permanent Residential Certificate (PRC) of the State/UT mentioned in their online application during Document Verification. Failure to do so, or providing a PRC from a different State/UT, will result in immediate cancellation of their candidature.

 

Educational Qualification

Candidates should possess 12th Class or an equivalent qualification with a science subject from a recognized Board/University by the closing date for submitting the online Application Form.

Age Limit

18-23 years as on the closing date for receipt of the online Applications Form (i.e. on 30/09/2024). Candidates should not have been born earlier than 01/10/2001 and later than 30/09/2006.

Application Fee

  • Fee payable : Rs.100/-
  • No fee is required for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST)
    and Ex-servicemen (ESM).
  • Fee can be paid online through Net Banking, by using Debit or Credit cards
    and UPI or through cash in SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.
  • If paying in cash at an SBI branch, ensure the Challan is generated by 30/09/2024 (23:00 hours), with cash payment allowed until 02/10/2024 during bank working hours.

Recruitment Process

Step I: Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Candidates who pass the Height Bar Test will proceed to the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), where they must complete a 5 km run within 24 minutes.

Step II: Physical Standard Test (PST)

Candidates who pass the Height Bar Test and the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will undergo the Physical Standard Test (PST), where their height, chest, and weight will be measured.

Step III: Documents Verification (DV)

The documents of the candidates who qualified in PET/PST will be scrutinized. Candidates who fail to produce requisite original certificates will be eliminated from the recruitment process and no candidate will be allowed provisionally.

Step IV: Written Examination

The candidates who qualify in PET/PST/DV will be called for Written Examination under OMR/Computer Based Test (CBT) Mode. The Written Examination will consist of one objective type paper containing 100 questions carrying 100 marks. Step V: Detailed Medical Examination (DME)

 The candidates who qualify in the PET/PST/DV and written examination (OMR/CBT) will be shortlisted State/Areawise and Category-wise on the basis of their performance in the written examination for appearing in the Detailed Medical Examination (DME). The number of candidates shortlisted for DME will be about 02 (Two) times of the number of vacancies notified.

Merit List

After completion of PET/PST/DV, Written Examination (OMR/CBT) and Medical Examination, State and category wise merit lists namely Un-reserved (UR), SC, ST, OBC, EWS and ESM will be drawn separately in respect of each State/UTs based on the performance of candidates in the Written Examination (OMR/CBT) and number of vacancies allotted to the State/UT.
