IBPS Specialist Officer Recruitment 2024: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has announced the recruitment for Specialist Officers (SO) under the Common Recruitment Process (CRP SPL-XIV) for the vacancies of 2025-26. This recruitment involves a two-tier examination process, including the Online Preliminary and Main Examinations, followed by an interview. Candidates who qualify through these stages will be provisionally allotted to one of the participating banks based on their performance and the business needs of the banks.

Eligibility Criteria
Nationality/Citizenship
A candidate must be either:
- A citizen of India, or A subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or
- A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before January 1, 1962, or
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from specified countries with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Age Limit (As of August 1, 2024)
- Minimum Age: 20 years
- Maximum Age: 30 years
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- Persons with Disabilities: 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 5 years
- Others as per the government rules

- General/OBC Candidates: Rs. 850 (Inclusive of GST)
- SC/ST/PwD Candidates: Rs. 175 (Inclusive of GST)

Interview
Candidates who qualify the Main Examination will be called for an interview. The total marks allotted for the interview are 100, with a minimum qualifying mark of 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates).
